  John Davila Jr
  Chris Englehart

Race Details : Karakorum Knockout, under John Davila Jr, broke well in this non-winners of two lifetime allowance at Finger Lakes. She rated behind the early speed through a quarter in :22.30. Knockout then rallied along the inside and, after briefly dueling with the leader, took command. She showed why she was the overwhelming favorite by drawing clear to win by over three lengths. Knockie now has two lifetime wins and 13 in the money finishes in 26 starts with earnings of $118,620.

  Belmont

  1 1/16m
  1:45.81
  $42,000
  Michael Luzzi
  Linda Rice

Race Details : It was a spectacular drive by Karakorum Elektra as she took it three wide at the top of the stretch, making up six lengths, to win by one and a quarter lengths. Karakorum Elektra drew clear in this event, only her second race, as a follow-up to her debut in which she placed. Like the hot new rookie on the team, all eyes are on Karakorum Elektra. If her first couple of outings are any indication – she’s a major-league player. A nomination to a stakes race would be tantamount to a spot on the all-star ballot, but August is still a couple of months away.

  Jose Espinoza
  Jeff Odintz

Race Details : Karakorum Sunshine was no match for the challengers as she went wire-to-wire. Taking the rail right from the start, Karakorum Sunshine ran the six furlongs with amazing style. She drew clear when asked to take it up a notch, and all this, as the jockey, Jose Espinosa, lost his whip in the stretch. It was not a problem. This filly has several stakes winners in her family, and she showed that kind of class today.

  $42,000
  Michael Luzzi
  Jeff Odintz

Race Details : Finishing in the money in four out of his five races to date, Chernobyl’s Hero broke his maiden by passing five competitors in the last 1/16 of the race. It was a slow start, as the son of Cryptoclearance was outrun early, but he was responsive to steady pressure, and picked up power in the stretch run – on the outside – translating into a win by ¾ of a length. This is a special win for the Karakorum Racing Team, as Chernobyl’s Hero continues to help to benefit the work of the Chernobyl Children's Project International (CCPI).

  Dana Whitney
  Chris Englehart

Race Details : The “bump-and-run” play was key in this five and one-half furlong event. Majestic Karakorum bumped with Rahy’s Bachelor soon after breaking out of the gate. Dana Whitney quickly recovered and took Majestic Karakorum to the front and never relinquished the lead. There was a half-hearted challenge from Raywick – from the inside – but nothing that a left-handed stick couldn’t take care of -- with ease. Majestic Karakorum continued to hold firm and drew away for a four and one-quarter length win.

Race Details : A textbook outing for Karakorum Knockout! The bay filly showed the rest of the field how a six-furlong race is run --quick out of the gate, set the pace on the inside and drive to the finish line. Kall Me K was the only challenger, riding closely behind Karakorum Knockout early-on. Jesus Ponce could look over his shoulder in victory as they came under the wire – with the nearest horse more than five lengths behind.

Race Details : With a change in tactics, Karakorum Tornado raced up along the inside and tracked speedy fractions in second. Never out of striking range, Tornado made a sustained move turning into the stretch and rallied towards the outside. He finished a half-length in front of his nearest rival and was nearly seven lengths ahead of the horse who completed the trifecta.
